Once you are enrolled, you will receive your Certificate Holder's card that
identifies you as a member of U.S. Legal Services. Your attorney's name
and phone number also appear on this card. Coverage will begin on the first
of the month after your paid enrollment. When you first contact your Plan
Attorney, present your Identification Card. You will not need to file a
claim with U.S. Legal Services.
Your own qualified Attorney can provide legal services such as:
- Your own lawyer for advice or consultation.
- Preparation of wills.
- Divorce, child support, child custody.
- Filing a lawsuit or defending yourself if you're sued.
- Real Estate, such as buying or selling your home.
- Consumer Law.
- Personal Bankruptcy.
- Insurance Law.
- Criminal Defense.
- Traffic Tickets, including DUI.
